ME DANCE YOUTH is for dancers aged 11-17.

ME Dance Youth runs every Saturday during term time, at Central Library, West Bromwich.

The company is for dancers aged 11-17, wishing to further their skills as dancers, and undertake invaluable performance opportunities.

The training programme covers fitness, technique, contemporary/ballet, flexibility, creative and set choreographic works by Artistic Director, Marcia Edwards or Guest Artists.

ME DANCE YOUTH have performed in platforms such as UDance Regional, Pinnacle Dance Platform, SetItOff, WalsallMakerFest, BCDH Dance Festival and Dynamic Youth Experience.

We are always looking for dancers to work with us.

If you are a youth dancer, dance graduate or dancer in training who wants to improve their knowledge in the professional dance industry, an ME Dance Company apprenticeship may be for you!

Through our partnership with Sandwell College, we offer apprenticeships to college students who want to learn more about what goes on within professional dance companies, gaining skills in marketing, research, administration and set and costume design.

Graduate Champions:
ME Dance Company is also partnered with De Montfort University, offering a paid internship scheme to DMU Dance Graduates to work with the company. The internship spans over a six week period and we offer opportunities to train with the professional company, as well as experience with administration, application writing, planning and more.

ME Dance Private Tuition is taught by Artistic Director, Marcia Edwards.

In 1-2-1 sessions Marcia will provide coaching tailored to the individual student, working on choreography, technique and performance. Marcia has prepared some of her students for auditions at places such as Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Trinity Laban and Kidderminster College.
