ME Dance Youth

ME DANCE YOUTH

ME Dance Youth is for dancers aged 11-17. Our aim is to train the dancers of the future to be strong and diverse, with weekly technical training.

ME DANCE YOUTH have performed at several platform events, including: UDance Regional, Pinnacle Dance Platform, WalsallMakerFest, SetItOff, BCDH Dance Festival, and Dynamic Youth Experience.

ME YOUTH goes beyond traditional dance training...

Dancers will be involved in a vast number of performance opportunities, performing alongside the professional company in both theatre and site specific spaces.

To ensure a successful career, we provide visiting guest artists to make sure the dancers have a foundation in a range of different teaching practices.

So far we have ran workshops with Graham of Europe, Cecilia Griffith of Conception Dance Theatre (Grenada), Nii Tete Yartey of NOYAM/Ghanaian National Dance Ensemble, Kate Taylor, Joss Arnot, Jack Philp Dance and Gemma Pilgrim. Plus, classes led by professional company dancers Claudia Thompson and Fleur Hall.

When and Where:

Training takes place every Saturday at Central Library,
316 High St, West Bromwich B70 8DZ.
Saturdays– 10:30-1:30pm- ME DANCE YOUTH
